In June 2016, I founded a community-inspired food brand. Within two years, Chap Chap had launched two branches in Kigali and hosted multiple social events. We partnered with different creatives in Rwanda and repositioned the food culture.
Our branch in Biryogo (Nyamirambo) offered a touch of Muslim-community inspired recipes with a touch of modern cuisine to attract urban youth from other parts of the city. Our branch in Kicukiro was an extension to Soho Fitness club and it specialised in more healthy, green drinks and foods.
