I’ve been working at Girl Effect since June 2010. I started as a project manager, worked as an associate manager in design innovation, then as distribution and partnership manager, then as head of marketing and digital, and now as a brand manager.
At Girl Effect, we build youth brands and mobile platforms to empower girls to change their lives. In Rwanda, Girl Effect runs Ni Nyampinga, a brand delivered as a magazine, a radio show and drama, and a suite of digital platforms. As director, I coordinate with the team, manage the budget and programmes under Ni Nyampinga; through the editorial and production, and distribution process.
My work also consists of assisting the country director in the leadership of the organisation and shaping the future strategy for Girl Effect Rwanda.
